The John W. Berry Sr. Scholars Program Benefits

In addition to the general University Honors Program benefits, Berry Scholars also receive:

  • Substantial tuition scholarships for eight semesters.
  • The option to take more than 18 credits per semester without additional charge.
  • Registration on the first day of their class period.
  • The option to take graduate courses as undergraduates.


University Honors Program Benefits

Students in the general University Honors Program:

  • Are awarded a level of academic scholarships from the Office of Financial Aid.
  • Can apply for grants for international research, Honors Thesis projects and for travel funds to present their research at scholarly or professional conferences.
  • Are guaranteed University housing for four years and are eligible for Honors housing and residential programming.
  • May participate in special Honors Program events such as the annual Lawrence A. Ruff Honors Author Program, Honors Art Exhibition and Honors Students Symposium.
  • Have enhanced library benefits.
