Honors Students
Symposium
Scheduled for the middle of the Winter Semester each year, the Honors Students Symposium
presents the work of University Honors and Berry Scholar seniors.
On March 23, 2007, the University Honors Program successfully
piloted the first
Honors Students Symposium, which featured presentations from the
thesis projects of 48 Berry Scholar and Honors students of the class
of 2007 to an audience of over 200.
The Symposium is
modeled on the style of professional conferences. This event
includes a presentation period, a question-and-answer session and
some informal time for the presenters to mingle with future thesis
writers, their advisors, faculty, members of the administration and any other
interested parties.
Everyone is welcome to attend for the entire afternoon or just the
sessions of particular interest. No registration is necessary to
attend.
