| A History of the Program The University of Dayton’s Honors Program has a rich history of successfully supporting generations of UD’s most academically accomplished students. Founded in 1978 with the first class incoming Fall 1979, the University Honors Program boasts of a more than 25-year history of success, with committed alumni and an enviable level of achievement.
